Sangiovese (san-joh-VAY-zeh)

The Sangiovese grape has been elegant and complex, wide and deep bouquet with hints of red fruits, wild violet on an undercurrent of spices. Lively ruby red color with purple hues, the taste is also fresh and intense. Coherent in the final fruity and floral returns.

Taste: Intense and concentrated with flavors of black cherry, plum, blackberry and redcurrant together with herbs, truffles, liquorice and spice. Develops great complexity with age.

sangiovese

Flavor is good, but still in the fermentation stage. Used in a blend with syrah and melot. Do like the availability of the different sizes, great for those of us that blend.
