I add them to the initial fermentation in a net bag. They add some color and flavor

Smells awesome I’ll be bottling in 3 weeks

I use them in Pinot Grigio as they add a little color and flavor

We have been making wine from kits for years, and we tried the Cabernet using elderberries and loved it. Then we bought another Cabernet, but this time we used the red wine raisins. It went from great to amazing!!! This will be our go to combination from now on.

I was hoping for very dark raisins with lots of anthocyanins, tannins, and seeds in them. These aren't them. However, they'll do what raisins do in red wine (a little extra richness) even if they won't provide an extra kick to the color and tannins. They are quite tasty, so be mindful when you open the bag to sample them. Will I buy them again? Time (aging) will tell.
