It was easy to follow the instructions. Smells good! Haven't tried it yet as it is still 'brewing'
We haven't started it yet, but if it is as good as the red we bought in November I know we are going to love it!
Good Kit, easy to make, The instructions are easy to understand. I like the plastic bag that comes with the kit so you can hang the remaining ingredients on the carboy during the wine making process
I selected this kit because Gewurztraminer is not your typical home winemaker kit, and I love a good dry Gewurtz. I ordered this kit along with a Merlot. They both arrived sooner than I imagined they would, and they were excellent condition. I discovered Wine Lovers several years ago, but they seemed to have disappeared, and I was excited to find them again independent of the distributor, where I initially found them. The Kit I purchased was a 5.2L kit with an estimated ABV of 9-10%. Once I mixed it for fermentation, I measured an SG of 1.076, which is a little lower than I expected, but the yield was an SG of 0.990, which produced an estimated, very dry ABV of 11.1%. I bottled this a couple of weeks ago and just opened my first bottle. The wine is crystal clear. The nose is incredible. I have difficulty describing it; it's fresh, sweet, and somewhat floral, like orange blossom. The taste is perfect, citrusy, with a slight tart feel in the back of your mouth. I’m sure this will be one of my favorites of the year. Yea, I recommend it.
easy and delicious
